The last EU Regulation on cosmetic products (Regulation No. 1223 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009, published on the Official Journal of the European Union on 22 December 2009 – the “Regulation”) is entered into force on 11 July 2013. The new Regulation harmonized the rules in the Community regulating manufacture, packaging, distribution and marketing of cosmetic products.

COSMETIC REGULATORY SERVICE PROCESSES
Main Operations
The Aneva Italia Cosmetic Technical-Regulatory Department provide support in order to ensuring compliance with the government bodies objection towards the protection of public health, providing the following service support activities:
- PIF - Product Information File drafting and updating
- Evaluation of the potential toxicological risk of the product (Safety Assessment)
- Registration of the Product-Responsible company, notification and update of the newly released cosmetics on the European Portal (CPNP)
- Proposal and verification of claims and advice on the suitable supporting tests
- Implementation and / or control of labelling according to legal obligations
- Assistance for importing from EU and non-EU countries, and exporting to EU and non-EU countries
